HAPPY HALLOWEEN! We had our 2nd annual Halloween party. The kids had a great time. This year we decided to have the adults join in he fun. Can you guess the decade????

I know it has been a while since the last post. Since Melina has started soccer in Sep she has really enjoyed it. Here are some pics from the last two games.

Melina will be playing soccer this year. So we went and picked out some soccer gear (Melina picked out everything).

Melina got her FIRST hair cut while we very visiting family in Pennsylvania............... we took her to a salon called"Sweet and Sassy" designed to pamper the little ones (or mold them into little Aunt Cheryl's!) It was the cutest thing, and Melina fell in love with the place- I think we are in trouble!!

We went to the beach at Dam Neck Naval Base on Saturday. It happened to reach a record high of 100 + degrees! I lured Mike and Becky to go with us since I knew they would be brave enough to take Melina into the ocean, but each time they went in, Melina was confused that they could swim since they weren't "mermaids." Maybe we should give "The Little Mermaid" movie a rest?!?!?!

I was promoted to Lieutenant Commander on Thursday. Karen, Melina and Tim came to the ceremony. Karen and Melina pinned on my new rank.
